Heritage Oaks Memorial Engraving Service is family-owned and operated in Mt. Olive, MS.
When we opened in 1999, we completed death date engravings strictly for funeral homes and monument businesses. Though the years, we have been asked why we do not offer our services on an individual basis. We have listened and are happy to announce that we are now offering our services directly to the public in an effort to help our customers save money.
How is our service different?
We complete all engravings 'on-site' in the cemetery. Unlike other companies which actually take the monument out of the cemetery, we do all of the engraving in the cemetery.
When monuments leave the cemetery, there is always the possibility that they can be damaged during the process. By doing the engraving ‘on-site,’ we eliminate the possibility of the monument being damaged during transit.
Experience Counts!
Our engraver has over 30 years of experience in the monument industry. He served as the shop foreman for a local well-known monument company. He was trained to produce monuments when they were ordered by a customer which included the actual monument design and production of the monument. He also attended and graduated from the EGA Granite Training Institute which is sponsored by the Elberton Granite Association in Elberton, GA.
In the 1980s, he was responsible for many of the monuments that were installed in the Hattiesburg, MS area. Now, he uses his expertise to complete death date engravings.
We treat each of our customers like they are a part of our extended family. Other companies may offer similar services, but our services come with a personal touch.
